Holiday services at the Great Synagogue

Attending holiday services at the Great Synagogue, including Yom Kippur, usually has to be arranged in advance, for security and registration reasons. We don’t publish service times here. Current times and rules are on the official site of Rome’s Jewish Community: Rome Jewish Community website (opens in a new tab).

Kosher food nearby

These are the places we recommend in the Ghetto:

  • Ba’Ghetto · restaurant
  • BellaCarne (Kosher Delight) · restaurant
  • Renato al Ghetto · restaurant
  • Pasticceria Boccione · bakery

Many places close or change their hours over the holidays, so book or check ahead. It’s also worth asking each place about its kosher supervision.
